Nissan Micra is coming back with an electric version!

Ana sayfa / News

The Nissan Micra was a model that has been out of production for a long time, but has not been erased from memories. Now it is set to return as an all-electric vehicle. A few years ago, Nissan hinted that an electric version of the Micra was coming, but due to the longer-than-expected development process, the model’s release has been delayed. Here’s the release date and what’s known about the vehicle…

Nissan plans to introduce a total of 30 new vehicles over the next three years as part of an industrial plan called “The Arc”. Sixteen of these vehicles will be electric. The new Micra will be one of these electric vehicles. Thanks to Nissan’s collaboration with Renault, much of the Micra’s infrastructure will be taken from the Renault 5. In fact, both cars will share the same platform and will probably share similar specifications.

In terms of design, the new Micra will feature softer lines and retro details such as round LED headlights. In particular, the front design has been modernized to resemble the third-generation Micra. The electric Micra will be about 4 meters long and will offer battery options ranging from 40 to 52 kWh. In other words, we can say that it can offer a range of more than 400 km in some versions.

The electric version of the Micra will have an important place among the affordable electric vehicles in the small segment. This segment is expected to grow rapidly in the coming years. Although we won’t see the vehicle on the roads until 2026, there is a possibility that Nissan will introduce the concept vehicle around 2025.
